MK Haus Of Beauty Education, Shipping, Returns & Exchanges Policy August 2022 

MK HAUS OF BEAUTY EDUCATION – STUDENT TRAINING RELEASE & AGREEMENT

This Student Training Release & Agreement is a legally binding document between MK Haus Of Beauty (ABN 45 836 138 565), Educator: Krielynd Gaudry, and the enrolled student. By enrolling, attending, or participating in any MK Haus Of Beauty Education training (online or in‑salon), the Student acknowledges, understands and agrees to the following terms.

1. Acknowledgement of Training Conditions

The Student understands that MK Haus Of Beauty is a private education provider, a certified Training & Assessor and not an RTO (Registered Training Organisation). Training is delivered for skills development and industry upskilling only.

The Student agrees to complete all required components of the course, including:

1.1 Theory Requirements

  • Completion of all assigned theory modules, quizzes, and written tasks
  • Participation in synchronous learning (live, real‑time training sessions)
  • Completion of asynchronous learning (self paced homework, reading and assessments)

1.2 Practical Requirements

  • Completion of all practical demonstrations, supervised tasks and model assessments
  • Submission of required evidence (photos, videos, or competency tasks)
  • Providing required models on the scheduled dates and times

Failure to complete required theory or practical components may result in:

  • Delayed certification
  • Issuance of a Certificate of Participation instead of a Certificate of Completion
  • Additional training fees if extra sessions are required

2. Homework, Assessments & Competency

The Student acknowledges that all homework, theory tasks, and practical assessments are mandatory.

This includes:

  • Pre‑course learning
  • In‑class assessments
  • Post‑course homework
  • Competency‑based tasks
  • Social media setup tasks (where relevant)

Non‑completion of required tasks may result in the Student being deemed not competent.


3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by NSW law, the Student agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless:

  • MK Haus Of Beauty
  • Educator: Krielynd Gaudry
  • All staff, contractors, and representatives

from any and all liability, claims, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Participation in training
  • Use of products, tools, or equipment
  • Reactions to products
  • Accidents or injuries during training
  • Working on or with models
  • Misuse of skills after training
  • Business outcomes following training

The Student acknowledges they are responsible for:

  • Their own health and safety
  • Following all instructions provided
  • Ensuring their models understand the risks involved


4. Models & Waivers

The Student agrees to provide accurate model information and ensure all models complete the MK Haus Of Beauty Model Waiver Form before participating.

Failure to provide models may result in:

  • Inability to complete assessments
  • Rescheduling fees
  • Delayed certification


5. Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

The Student acknowledges and accepts the MK Haus Of Beauty Shipping, Returns & Exchanges Policy (August 2022) and the MK Haus Of Beauty Booking Policy.

5.1 Online Training

  • No refunds once course access has been granted
  • Activation must occur within 16 hours of receiving the activation text
  • Course commencement must occur within 3 months of purchase
  • 1:1 online training must be scheduled within 30 days of purchase

5.2 In‑Salon Training

  • Cancelling within 7 days of the practical training date results in forfeiture of the session
  • Students may reschedule once with two weeks’ notice
  • Further changes result in forfeiture of the training fee
  • The salon is closed exclusively for training; therefore, no credits or refunds apply


6. Certification

The Student understands that:

  • A Certificate of Completion is issued only when all theory, practical and assessment tasks are completed to a competent standard
  • A Certificate of Participation is issued when tasks are incomplete, attempted but not competent, or not submitted
  • MK Haus Of Beauty does not guarantee employment or business outcomes


7. Intellectual Property & Training Materials

All training materials, manuals, videos, and resources remain the intellectual property of MK Haus Of Beauty.

Students may not copy, share, reproduce, or distribute any training content.


8. Photography, Social Media & Marketing

The Student consents to MK Haus Of Beauty capturing photos or videos during training for educational or marketing purposes unless they opt out in writing before training begins.


9. Agreement to Terms

By enrolling in training, attending training, or accessing any MK Haus Of Beauty Education materials, the Student confirms that:

  • They have read and understood this Agreement
  • They agree to all terms and conditions
  • They understand this Agreement is legally binding
  • They are participating voluntarily
  • They are at least 16 years of age

MK HAUS OF BEAUTY – RETURNS, EXCHANGES & SHIPPING POLICY

1. Missing, Damaged or Faulty Items

If any items arrive missing, damaged, or faulty, you must notify MK Haus Of Beauty within 24–28 hours of receiving your delivery. Notifications outside this timeframe cannot be accepted.

To lodge a claim, please email: admin@mkhausofbeauty.com, Your email must include clear photographic or video evidence of the issue.

MK Haus Of Beauty takes extensive care to ensure all products are packed securely and safely prior to dispatch.


2. Shipping Information

MK Haus Of Beauty uses the following carriers:

  • Australia Post / E‑Parcel for domestic shipping
  • FedEx or DHL for international shipping

2.1 Express Shipping (Australia Only)

  • Express shipping is charged at $14.95 per order
  • Bulky or oversized items may incur an additional fee
  • Express shipping rates do not apply to international orders

3. Free Shipping

Free shipping applies to orders over $300.00 (Australia only). This offer excludes bulky or heavy items, including the MK Moonlight. Free shipping does not apply to international orders.


4. Signature on Delivery

All shipments valued over $100 require a signature on delivery or will be delivered to the local post office associated with the address provided.

Orders will not be:

  • Left unattended
  • Left in a “safe place”

This is to protect the security of your purchase.


5. Order Processing

Please allow 1–2 business days for order processing and packaging.

Once dispatched, Australia Post will issue a tracking number within 24 hours. Please ensure your email address and phone number are entered correctly at checkout for tracking updates.


6. Returned Parcels & Redelivery

If a parcel is returned to MK Haus Of Beauty due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Failure to collect
  • Delivery refusal

A redelivery fee will apply before the parcel is resent.


7. Refunds & Change of Mind

MK Haus Of Beauty does not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect ordering
  • Unwanted items

Due to strict health, hygiene, and safety regulations, all sales are final.

Please ensure your order is accurate before checkout.


8. Gift Vouchers

  • MK Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash
  • Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • No refunds apply
  • For Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) purchases, please contact your BNPL provider directly for payment enquiries

9. Out of Stock & Backorder Items

If an item is out of stock or on backorder, MK Haus Of Beauty will contact you within 24 hours to offer:

  • A refund, or
  • Preorder option, or
  • Store credit

If no response is received within 3 days, the order will be automatically refunded and cancelled, with confirmation sent to the email address provided.


10. Local Pick Up (24/7) – Gregory Hills 2557

Local pick‑up is available 24/7. You will receive a text message with collection instructions once your order is ready.

11. Salon Hours

  • Monday – Wednesday: 5:00am – 4:00pm
  • Thursday: 5:00am – 9:00pm
  • Friday: 5:00am – 2:30pm
  • Saturday: 5:00am – 2:30pm (By Appointment Only)
